blood status;Half-blood.
sexual orientation ;Heterosexual.

the appearance
height & weight ;
Alea stands at five feet and five inches. Alea is a growing teenage girl with a slender body build with long legs. She's lightly built perhaps considered petite. She comes in at a weight of a hundred and twenty-four pounds.
hair ;
Her hair is dark brown, like her sister, Cameron. However, her hair isn't exactly shiny and is more of a matte type shade. When standing next to her fellow triplets, Cameron and Lexer she has the darkest hair of them all. Her hair is flowing long and falls down past her shoulders by at least five inches. She does keep up with her hair grooming. With wavy hair, she has difficulty curling it how she wants, so it's mostly kept straight and down. She enjoys her soft hair, and prefers for it to be let down. She dislikes bangs and wants to keep her hair out of her eyes.
eyes ;
She has large brown eyes that are considered wide-apart. Even with a very common eye color, her eyes manage to stand out from being under a thick layer of long eye lashes. Her eyes seem very prominent and are a central line of her facial look and more noticeable against her pale skin.
facial features ;
Alea has a rounded face that has very good symmetry. Her eyebrows are arched and not as thick as others, more seemingly normal sized. Her nose is hawk shaped, with a strong straight nose that is almost two inches long. Her skin tone is light and pale, she rivals her brother, Lexer in how pale her skin can get. During the summers her skin doesn't tan as much as she'd rather to sit in the shade or stay indoors. Her lips are small, plush, and a light tone of pink.
distinguishing features ;
She has always been more careful then her triplet siblings when it came to her adventures, so hence she hasn't broken a bone of hers yet or has any noticeable scar. On the back of her neck she has a small pink marking about a half inch in diameter that is a different shade of her skin, shaped more as cashew. It's her birthmark and never vanished as she gotten older and probably never will go away. At the time she has no intention on getting any type of markings. She does have her ears pierced, however, only once piercing at the bottom on the lobe of each ear.
style ;
Alea's style is a mixture of several. She has some daintly printed dresses, some clothes that seem as if they're made for males. She really wears things for comfort over appearance. But, she's no stranger to dressses. She tends to stick to neutral colors, like earth tones of blue, tan, brown, with some contrast colors such as faded purple, blue, or red. She love sto play with texture and hues, mixing up her clothes for a new look. Her dads may buy her an outfit that looks great, but, it's not uncommon for her to change the top, the scarf, to wear something else with it, the undershirt, the jacket. She would swap anything out until she thinks she looks presentable.
If she's not happy with something, she won't wear it again. Cardigans are her favorite long sleeve choices. Alea has a love for neck wear, mostly necklaces. She has a collection of several different necklaces and is picky about which one she'd wear to a certain event or during the day.

Books
There is no question at all when it comes to Alea's love of books. She simply is in love with them from the very point of which she learned to read until the very day she dies. When reading a book she finds herself immersed in a completely new world of order, something different and something for her mind to process. She loves reading books that others find boring such as a biology or history textbook. She finds the processes, the information, the facts, everything simply fascinating. With her appreciation of educational books she had built up an impressive collection of random facts that some consider useless information, but, to her they mean the world.
When it comes to fictional books she finds herself in love with them, a great way to challenge herself or to escape from the pressures of the world. She can easily challenge herself with a mystery novel. A mystery thriller could keep her on edge for hours as she tries to figure out whom was the guilty person of the story before the story ends and the guilty person was revealed by some type of detective. She finds the books the best way to experience and understand strange new worlds, worlds that she is not apart of. All these worlds she experiences is simply done as an observer, and sometimes a dream of what it'd be like to live in the alternate universe to be a princess, a fierce warrior, a space traveler, a magician traveling across time.
She loves to read because she loves a good story along with a character she can easily relate to. Relations with someone in a different world helps her understand, or at least feel as if she understands her place in her world. She finds reading a great way to inform herself, to learn, to challenge her mind, and to relax her mind. Alea finds reading a world of fun, something people cannot seem to grasp all the time. The pleasure of reading is something she cannot really explain or challenges the senses, but, with a good book the entire world around her simply falls away until she sets the book down to rejoin reality. Alea would argue that books are the piece that built society. Nothing would beat the affect and the thrill she experiences of getting a new book that she's been waiting for.
Smoothies
Alea loves smoothies more than any other type of drink or food. She loves fruit. She loves ice. She loves cold things. What better blend is there than a smoothie? She loves the cool ice against her tongue with flavor. She loves the texture of the ice, the jagged edges pressing against her tongue as she holds her tongue to the roof of her mouth. Alea savors the taste, every single bit of the taste. Her favorite flavor of smoothies is strawberry kiwi, but, she'd settle for any blend any day. She loves ice and would attempt to make a smoothie out of any fruit. At fast food restaurants, restaurants, or wherever, if they offer smoothies she'd take that over a soda.
Photography
Photography is one of Alea's most enduring hobbies. While she loves to stick her nose in a book or do her school work, she loves to take a camera and go photograph people, things, events, and share them with the world. Photography to her is personally rewarding. It's a way of being imaginative, creative, and exploring her own view on things through her eyes. Every photograph she takes is her attempt of showing the world, capturing the very event how she sees it through her eyes, how she processes it, and why she loves it so dearly. She believes it is an enlightening hobby that offers joys when others likes the photographs she had produced and ask for a copy.
It is a creative outlet, but, one that seems to require skill and a good eye. The camera isn't everything, though, she does have a pretty good camera after a Christmas holiday a few years back. She's happy with her camera and is absolutely thrilled when she gets a new lens to go with it along with. Though, not as thrilled as the newest book she was awaiting for. It's a creative outlet, art, something she truly loves. If she had to explain it, she couldn't as it'd be asking a child why he likes candy. Photographs she finds are great to look back at over time, to see what has changed, to experience things she had forgotten or slipped from her mind. Photography is an honor. A gift. A skill. She loves it.
While her books offer a way to escape from reality, her photographs hold her to reality. They're her world, the beauty she finds in her world. She is an optimistic person and she does not like to photograph things that depress her.
Exploration
Alea loves to explore the world. She's genuinely curious about the world she lives in and seeks to explore it through travel and through her books. Her books offers a gateway to several different locations across the world. Travel with family offers a chance to meet a new culture and to experience something new. It's not a surprise that Alea loves going home with her friends over the summer breaks due to the fact it's a different family experience and a different experience for her to notice and be with a friend. She wonders how other relationships work with parents. She wonders how people live in a place like say, New Zealand.
As a child and still to her teenagedom, she has a huge urge to explore the world around her. Everything in the world offers a chance to meet something new, a new experience, new idea, something foreign. Her curiosity isn't easily settled. In her first few years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry she spent a lot of time trying to explore the halls of the castle. She explored the grounds, tried to enter every room she possibly could enter. When she has a chance she loves to explore something new, walk down a new street in a new city, or just visit someplace new with her family, and especially her sister Cameron. Alea can fall in love with new things within an instant.
Randomness
Random things such as running, walking, food, talking, candy, jewelry, new foods, some place new are all things she loves. As she loves to explore and has a natural curiosity she also has a great love of random moments. One moment she may feel like riding a broom soaring through the skies above Hogwarts' grounds. The next moment she'd rather to read a book under the shade of a tree. One moment she'd want ballerina shoes to the next moment she'd dream again of being a teacher when she grows up. When it comes to color, she answers in an oddly speific way such as her pants would be baltic green, not just green, or her shirt being sandalwood.
With a love of all things random there's really no telling what she'd like one moment and dislike the next. She strongly goes with her cravings. If she feels like reading a book with her feet in the lake, she would go do it. If she feels like sitting in the clock tower alone with her pet animal, she'd go do it. She loves language, words, writing, and having a wide vocabulary. Breaks free of conventional rules and tries things new. She allows her plans to change halfway through. When she is asked for a date of something happened in social interaction she'd be more likely respond with something like "A few months before my little brother's birthday two years ago." She loves to say odd things, odd sayings, as if she was trying out a catch phrase. Nobody knows for sure why she acts like that.
dislikes ;
Bunnies
Rabbits are no stranger to the affection of millions of people around the world stopping to admire their cuteness. When it comes to Alea and rabbits it is a different story. From the time when she was really young she saw a Easter Bunny in a store. Her experience with the Easter Bunny was not good, not good at all. There were real bunnies in a cage nearby, she went to pet one and the creature bit her fingers, drawing blood. The man in the costume of an Easter Bunny spoke something that had creeped her out in a spooky voice, "Vampire bunny. You were bit by a vampire bunny." She ran away and got lost between all the posters of bunnies around and they frankly terrified her that she found herself in a corner before her dads came and got her. Hence, now she hates bunnies.
Cranberry
Alea is not a very picky eater. She eats what is put in front of her for the most part. However, there is one food item that seems to be common that she hates. The food she hates most of all is cranberry. She hates when her family has a large meal and there are cranberries set on her plate. When she's serving herself she would always avoid the dish and go after other things. She hates the taste of cranberries, the look, and defiantly hates the type from the can most of all.
Being Tickled
It is a curse... Being ticklish is a curse in Alea's mind. She doesn't mind someone touching her shoulders, poking her, or being hugged. But, the one thing she hates the most is being tickled. Some say that it is a massive overload of pleasure, but, Alea believes the opposite. She'd cry of tickled too hard from the laughter. She most of all hates when people dig into her ribs to tickle her and it makes her feel extremely uncomfortable. She'd still yelp from the pain and nearly die from laughter. But, as far as she's aware she'd prefer not to be tickled.
When she was young she was tickled by one of her fathers, she couldn't have been older then four years old. She collapsed to the ground and asked her father to stop, he thought she was playing around and continued to tickled her. She peed her pants. She can stand being lightly tickled, but, plain out attacking her by tickling her makes her furious for a short while.
Being Corrected
This dislike is one of Alea's largest pet peeves. She simply hates being corrected. She's a know-it-all type of person whom spends her life and days with her eyes glued to a book. If she answers something seriously and knows her answer is right she hates being told she's wrong. She'd go through the extra length to approve she was right. She doesn't mind simple corrections as if she pronounced something wrong or shown a more efficient way. She has a large problem with being "corrected" when she knows something to be the fact and or experienced or read it herself. She hates when her stance is overrides by someone else's inexperience or opinion.
She doesn't mind being corrected if they can prove their point. But, when she knows the subject, she closes herself to input as she believes she knows the right answer until it is proven false by showing her evidence of the claim.
Intolerance
Alea does not like intolerant and judgmental people. She hates people judging based on blood purity, race, sexual orientation, abilities, accent, religion, or anything. Alea was raised by two fathers, gay parents. They were great parents, raised her well, her siblings well and that is all that matters to her. She strongly believes all humans are humans regardless of their race, sexual orientation, abilities, accent, religion. She believes that all judgment should be left to the law and the only thing that matters is the person's morality. If a person has good morals and is a good person, then that's all that matters.
Intolerance of others is not something one is born with. It is something that is taught, a protective mechanism put into the minds of children by their influences. Foreign things may be incomprehensible and treated with caution, but, there is no right to look down upon it and be completely intolerant of it. She does not understand racism. She doesn't know why others push people down on social issues. She believes all human beings are equal unless they are guilty of a serious crime. Alea keeps an open mind to things and hates when others are simply closed minded and have no tolerance.
strengths ;
Brilliant
Alea West is a brilliant young woman. She has great potential to be successful in life through her education. She spends her days practicing magic, reading her books, doing her homework, and simply performing well in school. She pays attention, takes notes, reads things, and commits facts to her memory. She tries her best to pay attention to new things, classes, assigned work to add up to her collective knowledge. Alea is brilliant when it comes to academics and can easily motivate herself to keep up with the new content and material. She holds good behavior in her classes, comes in on time, and studies to prove her image of a class.
Adaptable
She is able to adapt to new conditions. Able to demonstrate that she can adapt to ever changing circumstances and environments to take on board new concepts and ideas. Being adaptable and flexible are a strong characteristic of her personality, a type of behavior that she has simply always had. She keeps an open-mind to new ideas, information, and draws conclusions from it. She's receptive to change and is able to respond with a positive attitude. She is willing to learn new ways and new things to achieve things. Alea is a natural multitasker, she can adapt to new conditions and hardships easily and quickly. She has a can-do attitude which really helps her.
Optimistic
While Alea can be skeptical to things she does find herself not being a pessimist. She believes the past does not make the future and looks to the future with great hope. She has hope that there would be a better tomorrow then yesterday and she holds strong by that hope and belief. As she experienced pain, disappointment, betrayal, she looked forward and tried to keep a positive attitude for herself. She loves optimistic people whom try to see the good in everything in every life, action, goals, and risk. By her love of optimistic people she has become one as well. She believes life is short and one has to have a great time while walking on the earth, while being positive about change and hope for a better tomorrow for the next people and herself.
Competitive (academically)
Alea competes in life. She listens to people, learns new skills, writes, and simply pushes forward trying to get ahead. She deals with new crises as they come up. With a passion for knowledge she finds herself competing against fellow members of her house trying to be the best of her class, or at least the best she can do. Being competitive gives her an edge, an edge she uses to her advantage to excel further. She's honest with herself and her academics and does not try to cheat to get ahead. It's either done the honest way or it's not done at all.
weaknesses ;
Self-Conscious
Alea is self-conscious about her self. She is aware of herself and how she looks and views the world. She holds herself up to a high standard as she believes she has to be that high standard. She looks at herself, inspects things. It is as if she is perfectionist at times, but, she isn't as she's happy with being just good. Perfection is not something that she really strives for. But, she does become self-conscious about her hair, her views, and how she's represented. If she's not comfortable with something about herself she wants it changed and tries to change it.
Careful/Coward
Roller coasters are fun and all for many people as well as other fast moving rides and things that give people a thrill of being on with little to no control of the overall encounter and experience. Alea is a person that does not like this. She's not a controlling person, but, she does not like having an option of no control. She's careful of things and is a coward and is afraid of new things at first. Such as roller coasters. She's afraid to go on a roller coaster and questions herself and defends herself with questions such as: What if I need to get off? What if we get stuck? It is something she has to be talked into. Her siblings are great at managing to talk her into doing new things. She's afraid of anything that can be sensed as pure danger. Adventure in the Forbidden Forest? She'd need to be dragged there by someone before her curiosity would take over. She won't push past it on her own.
Dependent
Her family has always been there for her. Her fathers were great parents and always been open to her coming to them about an issue. Alea depends on her siblings, especially Lexer and Cameron. She depends on them to help guide her. She's smart, book smart, but, there comes things that she's not so great at. Lexer is the protector and as far as she knows he's always been her protector. Cameron's been one of her best friends, a sister, whom is more of the leader and can make the choices. Alea is a follower not a leader. She depends on others to carve a path at her side, something she needs to break from. She doesn't want to lose her family. She cannot fathom living without them one day. She's very dependent upon them.
Indecisive
Indecisive, she has always been a person whom changed her mind about something constantly. She cannot decide either she wants to be a marine biologist, ballerina, or be a professional ice cream taster at Honeydukes when she grows up. She has great potential, but, so many choices and pathways are open for her and her life. She knows her future is coming up on her and she'd have to discover something. But, as of yet she hasn't discovered anything she strongly feels that she wants as a career. She can make decisions about food, academics, and books easily, but, when it comes to life's bigger decisions she finds herself over thinking the problem or procrastinating it away as long as she could possibly do so.
boggart ;
Her boggart is perhaps a common one, but, a dead family member. Doesn't matter who, any of them.
amortentia ;
The scent would be strong blackberry vanilla and kiwi. She'd also smell old books and the scent of honey.
erised ;
Her deepest desire is no secret. She wants to travel the world, visit everywhere and explore. She wants to discover something new and to be the one to share it with the world. She hopes to one day travel across the ancient ruins of the world, to other societies, to investigate the past, the present, or even the future.
veritaserum ;
Alea does not have very many secrets besides being taking the last cookie at home. The one thing she won't mention to others... She'd cry herself to sleep, softly at times when she feels the pressure is too much. When she has too many obligations and is spread thin and stressed out, she still keeps up her smile and pushes forward with her positive attitude. It gets her back in times when she's alone in the shower or in bed when trying to sleep.
dementor ;
Her worst memory involves a man in an Easter bunny costume and small rabbits. She has been terrified of bunnies ever since she was a small girl. Now, if she sees a bunny she just simply bites her tongue and tries to ignore it. She doesn't believe they're cute. They have bit her, scratched her, and scared the living daylights out of her before. It was also one of her earliest memories. The man in the Easter bunny suit spoke a creepy line to her and managed to scar her for life. Since that period of time it has become her worst memory, though, an awkward memory.
patronus ;
Her happiest memory is sitting on a boat across and strolling through the water to the castle of Hogwarts on her first evening at Hogwarts. It was the annual boat ride for first years to their new school, it was exciting and she was entering a new magical world for the very first time. Her patronus would take the form of a kiwi bird.
personality ;
Alea West is a compassionate, gentle, curious, and kind person when it comes to interacting with the world around her. She's a vivacious person with a spirit that never seems to die and is able to bounce back easily from a hardship even when the stress has built up so high that it causes her to cry herself to sleep or spend a prolong amount of time in the bath or shower contemplating life's problems. She has a strong desire of curiosity of the world around her. Alea wants to know more of the world she grew up in, the laws, how things work, the science, the mystery of subjects, and the people.
She's very eager to learn and is an inquiring person that likes to seek information by asking questions. She questions a lot of things until she feels she could understand the topic. Learning something new is something that she strives to do each and every day. With a vivid memory and her passion for learning she has become what others would call book smart. She's mentally sharp and a fast thinker that could quickly analyze changes and challenges around her. She loves a challenge, something that makes her rack her mind. Though when a professor, tutor, mentor, older year, or some adult could challenge her with something that causes her to rack her mind and hit the books for research she'd become extremely frustrated and agitated. But, once she achieves, if, she achieves the project's completion she feels extremely relieved and happy.
Alea is a vivacious young woman that sees the world in a positive life. She's an extremely optimistic person and tries to be. She's cheerful and easily can become happy about even the smallest things. It seems that she does have low standards when it comes to things, but, she doesn't set her standards too low, she just expects less and hence is not disappointed very much. She has an alive passion and loves to celebrate the strange holidays such as a certain color day, days where they show house pride, crazy hair day, goof off day, wacky Wednesday, any holiday that she can remember and has some interest official or not official.
Her escape from the world is reading. It's her escape from stress, pressure, and society. She does love games and relaxing things such as a bath (which she didn't get very much with so many siblings), but, reading is the top thing in the world that captivates her imagination. When it comes to language she is well-versed and a very talkative person. She is a know-it-all type that has a seemingly endless facts about almost anything and constantly learning more. Her being talkative can get annoying to her siblings and parents that they have had to tell her to be quiet at times... Or bribe her. However, due to her wit she did come up with comebacks easily, which mostly got her in trouble for being smart-mouthed toward her parents.
At a very young age she fell in love with knowledge. She loves to learn. When her school years begun of Hogwarts she had excelled. She was able to keep up with others and became a competitive person against her classmates. Her she and housemates and classmates were encouraged to be competitive academically. She bought into it and pushed forth trying to be the best, get a higher mark, racing against a study buddy. She loved the fact that she could be competitive and it made things feel so much better and allowed her to feel better about her work and be accepted. She was teased a bit back in muggle grade school for rather reading something over playing on the swing set at school. She's an overachiever that can seem like she's a perfectionist, but, she's happy with good/great and doesn't need to be perfect.
She does get nervous around people when they depend on her to make a decision. She is the type of kid that had her fingers in several different pies. She wanted to try everything. Alea couldn't decide which class to take at Hogwarts and spent a lot of time debating with herself of which to take. There were simply not enough hours in the day to take all the classes she had wanted to take. Boys can make her nervous as well, she hates being around a cute boy she thinks she could have a crush on. With her love of random things, exploring, and new things she has an irrational fear of rabbits to go with them.
She has high spirits and hope for everything. She's a natural explorer with a large curiosity about everything. She wants to go into the world and see everything, experience everything, and observe everything through her eyes. She dreams about things of other lives, what if, and how things could have been different. She's fearless and would go forth with nearly anything. But, she did show fear at times when it came to something such as roller coasters. She's a coward when it comes to large things that would throw her in a world of non-comfort. But, she could always be talked into it. She could be dragged into doing something such as getting on a roller coaster when she did not want to do it. For new experiences she's fearless and will be the first in line. But, if she didn't enjoy it the first time it's something she'd have to be pressured into. She does usually give into pressure. She's wise and looks at her new experiences and judges based upon what she had experienced, learned, or heard, while keeping an open mind while observing the experiences of others.
Her intelligence controls her life. She over thinks things. She's a friendly person that is very graceful, polite, and hardly ever curses. If she were to insult someone she'd use cleaner words over something insulting, which at times makes her insults seem hilarious. She can easily adapt to new social situations or new things at home. She does get uncomfortable and would prefer to be with someone else when experiencing something else. Alea knows her limitations, her faults, though she tries to push through them. She can imagine herself in new worlds, new circumstances, in another life. She can appreciate others, the qualities, and their judgments. She has a respect and a sense of wonder about each person. Alea is a humble person that is there for others and willing to help, tutor, or offer a hug when needed.
She has a sensitive though lively spirit. When she's ashamed she hides and stays away from other people. Once she's around others her smile returns. It takes a lot for her to not hold a smile to show her anger or cry in public. She's a private person about her hurt self. However, her family and closest friends know exactly how to look through her fake smiles. Her feelings get hurt easily. She can hardly take an insult and takes them very personally.
There is not a thing in the world that she loves more then her family. She's very dependent upon her family and knows she still has a lot to learn from them. Her family is her comfort zone and is some place she knows she'd always feel... Home. Because of her family she's became a caring person and willing to stay with a family member even with sick. If they did get sick, she would argue to not leave their side. Because of the wide verity in their family and how she was raised she dislikes and hates intolerance. She has gay dads. She has a gay brother. She doesn't see that as different. She hates intolerance of any sort for morally good people.

Fifth.
pet ;
A silver-black Siberian cat.
favourite subject ;
Her favorite subject is arithmancy. She likes numbers and it was the first elective she choose at Hogwarts on her own time. She never dropped it, because she in fact came to like it. She loves numbers and the math that goes around it.
worst subject ;
Her worst subject is Astronomy. She gets tired at night and usually feels sleepy when it's time for astronomy class and can hardly keep herself awake for them. She's managed to do well, but, had to work much harder during other times when class was not in session and she was more awake.
best spell ;
Recently her best spell had become the shrinking charm with the incantation of reducio. She's finding it handy for transporting objects and later restoring them to their normal size with another spell. She found it to be an absolute thrill once she was able to shrink an object to a fraction of its size.
worst spell ;
Her worst spell is one that she would hardly ever use and it would be sonorus. She had tried to use it to increase and amplify her voice during oral reports before or out in a crowd trying to call a friend over to where she was sitting. The spell never went over very well, didn't work, she couldn't counter it when she needed to speak normal again, or the spell backfired and done the opposite and her mute for an hour.

history ;
It was a day in mid-October when a flail woman was in the hospital in labor and sick herself from a per-existing sickness. Nobody is completely sure of the exact circumstances of their birth besides the hospital records that made it through. The triplets were born, a boy and two girls. hey had never got to meet their mother as she died just hours after they were born. A couple by the names of David and George saw the triplets on a raining day in an orphanage. Seeing the triplets they instantly fell in love with them. They were only about a month old. There was no other known family so the infants in the orphanage were at the ward of the state, making their adoption process much smoother as there was no parent to hunt down and get parental permission to give up the children.[/blockquote]
With David and George it was the first time they had a home. They were raised from practically birth, when they were nearly two months old to the current day. Cameron had asked about the story several times and several of those times Alea ran up to sit down and listen to it again. Alea quickly became a fan of the stories their parents told. As a toddler she had learned to walk and talk quickly. She was after Cameron when it came to walking but managed to beat Lexer. When it came to language it seemed that Alea picked up new words the fastest of all of them and understood their meanings. She was closely tied with Cameron when it came to learning new things as a toddler.
As she grew older and the family had a wealth of pets and new kids joining, she grew up happy. She loved having a big family, and she never knew anything but having a big family. She shared a room with her sister Cameron and brother Lexer until they were five years old. At five years old they begun muggle grade school to learn to read and write and other basic skills like math, history, and things that they should know. Alea knew how to read before going to school and some math. School was her most favorite part of her early childhood over the rest. She was jealous of her older sister Annika for going off to Hogwarts.
When she was five years old they went to a shopping center around Easter time. There was a man dressed up in an Easter bunny costume and actual rabbits were out in a petting zoo type of thing and being sold to the children. They were adorable and Alea thought they were. But, she was afraid to touch one. After staring at them for a while and admiring them she placed her hand down to pet one. The small bunny bit her on her fingers and drew blood. She instantly screamed and stepped away from the rabbit. The man in the costume made a smart remark that made him seem like a complete creep, ”Vampire bunny. You were bit by a vampire bunny.” Alea screamed again and ran off. She ran and got lost behind a cardboard cut out of a rabbit. The Easter cutouts freaked her out and kept reminding her of the vampire bunny. Since that day she had not liked bunnies at all. They had become part of ner nightmare.
It was easily known between the family that Alea was the most wide-eyed child of them all. She was the most talkative child and couldn't be shut up through the day, when out shopping, or at home. She'd had to be distracted with something in order to stay quiet and not talk. Her language very early on once she begun school had was did you know? facts. Alea had questioned almost everything while growing up. She loved asking why?. Why? became her favorite question and she asked it almost endlessly while learning in school. When she hit about seven years old she was able to read larger books, such as smaller chapter books on her own. She had won her first spelling bee when she was eight years old. She placed the trophy on the stand next to her bed and moved away one of Cameron's toys to keep her trophy.
When they were nine years old they took a family vacation to the Cliffs of Dover. While they were on the other side of the country Alea ran off with Cameron and Lexer to explore and look down the cliffs at the water far below. She had remembered that it paled in comparison to the Grand Canyon in the United States of America, a place she wanted to travel across one day. But, seeing the Cliffs of Dover in person amazed her and she told her fathers that it was better than the picture sin the books. Their father, David called them back from the edge and Alea listened to join her family. But, Cameron did not return.
It took her a few moments to realize Cameron was missing because she was so focused on eating something. She never ate very much and finished her food quickly. To the current day she is a light eater and always has been. After about fifteen minutes they found Cameron dangling off the side of the cliff, just seemingly floating. It was her first sign of magic. She had remembered Lexer's first sign a few years back and she was bit jealous that she was the last and had not experienced magic yet. She really wanted it and hoped she wouldn't end up turning to be a muggle.
Alea got her wish just a week after she turned ten. It was a few months after Cameron's first sign at the vacation to the Cliffs of Dover. Alea was being a bother in the kitchen and kept requesting more cookies and became extremely repetitive of the question: Can I have a cookie? Please? I only want one! I know I was late! But, I really want a cookie. Can I have it? She stared at the cookie jar and was tempted to grab one. Her father, George grabbed the jar and put it up higher out of her reach. Alea got mad and asked once again if she could have a cookie. Right before she was told no several cookies floated out of the jar and dropped to the ground in front of her, across the room. Alea smiled and grabbed two cookies and ran away. She hadn't even noticed it was her first sign of magic. She just wanted the cookies.
Eleven years old. The summer came. It was a new experience for the children. It was their turn to go shopping in Diagon Alley as all three had gotten their letters to the magical and famous school that their older sister Annika, their aunt, and one of their fathers went to. It was an absolute thrill. Alea had most of her entire saved up stash from her piggy bank to buy several books to take to the school. She ended up taking far more then what was required and had to leave some behind as her trunk was simply not big enough. She didn't know how to unshrink things, so, her father didn't shrink the items for her.
The train ride to Hogwarts was something new. She met several people and several pets by greeting everyone. Her most memorable part of the trip to Hogwarts for the first time was not the train ride, but, the ride across the lake on the boats. She loved going across the water on the boats and it quickly became her favorite memory, the memory that was the moment she was introduced to a new magical world, and completely sure she was apart of it. The memory extends onward to the sorting ceremony where several students names were called out first. They were toward last because of their last name, West. Of the triplets, Alea was sorted first. With the hat talking and complementing, she had asked to be with smart people so she could learn with the simple words, “I want to be with the smart kids!” She was pleased with her sorting, a house where her competitive attitude she had academically in school was appreciated and other peers whom loved books as much as she did.
At Hogwarts she instantly liked Charms the most. She warmed up in all the classes quickly and read the assigned work, reread it, and practiced endlessly. She didn't spend much time meeting new people. Her mind was so focused on learning. Alea was a very teachable person and that's all that she wanted and expected out of Hogwarts. To learn. She mastered new spells quickly, through a lot of practice. When a spell caused a problem with her and she couldn't get it on her own she'd go up and ask for help from an older year. It helped that several older years were very helpful and willing to help her perfect her wand technique, words, or show her how to cast the spell she was struggling in. However, when it came to Astronomy she did not do so well at first. Astronomy became her least favorite class as it was so late at night and she found it hard to stay awake. She was a morning person. Not a night person.
As she got older she became more involved in school and meeting others. She kept to a small group of friends. She was easily hurt, but, she looked beyond it and acted as if everything was alright. She liked being the cheerful person. She hated negative events and met an optimistic person years before as a kid and realized she should be optimistic herself which had end up becoming a defining part of her personality along with her book smart intelligence. She became the friend that would go to the hospital wing and spend every moment there until the nurse kicked her out. She'd talk about random things to make them feel better, help with homework, do it together. She was there for someone when they were sick.
Alea grew up into a teenager. Sexuality had become something she had understood. The talk with her fathers over summer was very awkward for her and she managed to freak out one of her dads by perfectly reciting the reproduction system. When she saw their facial expressions she just laughed and picked up her pillow from her bed revealing a biology book. It should've been known she'd had researched it in her books first. She had come to suspect her brother, Lexer was gay. She randomly asked him one day in passing, ready to run off and act like she asked the wrong person if he hesitated. Lexer shrugged and said “Yeah”. Alea was okay with it and gave him a hug only to hear him growling as he would normally do when hugged. She ran off with a smile. She never told anyone, as she believed it was his part.
Over the summer break before her fifth year she went to a muggle woman's house several times over the week. She tutored her in math as Alea felt she was struggling in Algebra because at Hogwarts there was not much focus in mathematics outside of Arithmancy. Back at Hogwarts for her fifth year, she's hoping for new adventures and to make more friends as she had secluded herself a lot, while keeping her grades at top-notch, the best she could. Though, people from her house commonly entered the Hogwarts Scholastic Competition, Alea hesitated as she was afraid she'd need knowledge of what older years would need and she did not want to lose. So, she just watched.
