height & weight ; Mishael Bartolomeo weighs a mere hundred and twenty-nine pounds. He is still gaining weight to support his growing figure as he stands at five foot seven. He holds a fit body type that is constantly changing the mold as he continues his experience of the final few years of puberty. Mishael's body build holds potential to be a slim and a tall man. He has grown a few inches in the past year and expects to grow a few more over the next few years of his teenage years.
hair ; The teenager has a head full of thick brown hair. He is slightly touchy about his hair, but, he is perfectly fine with someone messing it up as he does not use much hair product due to him usually just combing it the way he wants. He does not stick to a consistent style as his hair being wavy allows him to experiment around with it. Often times his hair is just combed back, other times he lets it fall freely. The length is kept around three to five inches, at times being shorter. He does not have long sideburns and has them removed if they drop below his ear.
eyes ; Mishael's eyes are very similar to the eyes of his brother, Micajah; but yet different. His eyes are bright green that has few hints of brown, but, stronger hints of blue. In some lightning his eyes could appear as blue, other times grayed out closer matching his brother's. The eyes take the shape of a large almond while having symmetry being tucked under his eyebrows resting to the sides of his nose bridge. His eyes are not narrow, but, big enough for him and they fit perfectly on his face.
facial features ; His face is made up of strong bone structure from his genetics, much like his siblings and similar to them. Mishael has a pale pinkish lip color with his upper lip only half the size of his lower lip. His face is mostly cleared except for two barely-noticeable freckles that lie upon the center of his left cheek. He has the thick eyebrows that seem to run within the males of his family.
distinguishing features ; Besides from the semi-common occurrence of bruises after a break at his parents home, Mishael does have some permanent distinguishing features. One of which would be the flat brown freckle/mole upon the right side of his neck. However, he does not have any scars as his parents have been pretty good at staying on top of his injuries and getting them healed quickly. At the glance he has a long torso and a naturally thin body build. His shoulders are broad and strong from having worked on good posture all of his life. Underneath the navel he has a thick vertical trail of hair down to his crotch that can be easily recognized when he is shirtless.
style ; Mishael Bartolomeo has a strong sense of style. He grew up with two brothers whom were careful about their self image. One of his brothers, Micajah, had a very keen sense for fashion and being thirteen years younger Mishael picked up styles. He wears shirts ranging from casual to dress button-up short sleeve or long sleeve. He strongly prefers jeans over other pant styles. If he has a bruise inflicted on his arms he would wear long-sleeved shirts to hide the injury. He wears bracelets at times, normally upon his left hand. The bracelets may have words, styles, or just be plain.
Any chance he gets, he loves to get out of his standard school robes. After the class day ends it is not uncommon for him to run straight to his dorms to get out of the robes and wear something more fashionable. He loves short sleeve shirts, and layering clothes to appear different styles blending into one. At times his chest would be covered, and others perhaps not. Most of his wardrobe focuses around the colors of blue, white, green, and black. He has a large number of plain colored shirts and plaid design shirts. Under no circumstances will he ever wear anything with polka-dots or something that looks like a child's clothing selection such as rubber ducks or chocolate frogs.

Surprises[/u] Mishael loves surprises. He loves to be surprised and he always had. He finds great delight in small hidden gems. He loved it when he was a child just barely a toddler and his parents or one of his siblings would surprise him with a simple "boo" or a present. Something unexpected is a breath of fresh air to him. Even in his teenage years he takes surprises well. He seems to be a bit of an optimistic and sees the good in nearly every surprise. The holidays are a surprise overload for him. He loves even the smallest gifts received.
Men[/u] There is no denying that Mishael is gay. He loves men from the torso to the genitals. From the kissing to the feel of the few days old stubble upon a face. Mishael loves everything about boys and wants to be with a guy whom is a man, not a boy, or a boy pretending to be someone he's not. Exceptions can be made for great fun, and, because of his desire to want a boyfriend. He's a guy that likes guys. He loves the feeling of lust, the crushes, the raging hormones, down to the sex and naked bodies being slammed against each other. Fantasy can be made reality, and he wants to make his fantasy a reality.
Magic[/u] Mishael is in absolute love with magic. It was his first passion and still remains a passion of his to the modern day. He loves everything about magic from brewing a simple potion to the great goblin wars from centuries ago. He however, does not like divination so much, but, he still holds a respect for the field. He loves magic and wants to pursue it to the full extent as he possibly could. Magic makes him feel more powerful, and, it is something he has that cannot be taken away no matter what. One of his ambitions is to learn wandless magic to become more powerful and make sure he doesn't lose magic just by losing his wand.
Honeydukes[/u] The teenager has quite the sweet tooth. For as long as he could remember he loved it when his mother, father, or brothers came back home with candy. He'd have ask the house elves for candy often. His mother had banned the elves from allowing him to have too much candy because he'd eat it until he got sick. Early on in Hogwarts he couldn't wait until he could go to Hogsmeade to buy candy himself and have a larger selection then the few that older years would share with the younger years. He was saddened after his first few months at Hogsmeade that the limit was moved to fourth years from third. When he entered his fourth year it was bumped to his fifth. Now in his sixth year he is half praying that the school's Board of Governors wouldn't be idiots and close the campus completely. He is in complete love with chocolate frogs and other candy that contains chocolate.
Writing[/u] Mishael had fallen in love with writing at a young age. It was something he could do as a past time. He was always curious of the diaries his mother, Aleksa kept. She wrote in them every night and sometimes would read the page she wrote out loud to him. As he grew up he begun his own diary... and eventually renamed it to "journal" because his father hated the term of diary. At Hogwarts his writing has improved much from older years helping him finishing his sentence completion and grammar correction. He continued his journals until he was thirteen years old and his father discovered them. His father thought it was "sissy" and caught his journals on fire. He lost everything he wrote, all the stories, essays, poems, or his thoughts when the fire burned them away. He continues to write journals, but, is more careful with hiding them away from prying eyes.

Pacifism[/u] Mishael believes there are two sides when it comes to a public conflict. He believes one has to choose a side. It is like yes and no, there is no "maybe". He agrees with pacifism when it comes to personal conflicts and fighting, which ends up being one of his main contradictions. However, when it comes to the debate of politics and the future of the magical world he believes a choice needs to be made. One either supports the Order of the Phoenix or the Death Eaters. There is no middle ground and no way to stay neutral throughout the entire conflict. This describes his mother perfectly. She was a woman of such loyalty that she knew no bounds in her loyalty to her husband. Her moral fiber was strong, she was pacifist, and never did anything to anger nor upset her husband even if it hurt her children, the conflict never happened. She was a coward. Mishael despised this. His mother was weak.
Father[/u] Only one of the Bartolomeo boys like their father and that would be Mikangelo. His other brother, Micajah has never seen his father eye-to-eye; especially since the teenage years and the discovery of being gay. Mishael grew was born right before Mikangelo was to begin his final year at Hogwarts and Micajah entering his fourth. Their father was hard on Micajah and hit him occasionally. Mishael grew up seeing the best of his father and the worst. As he grown older he seen how his father disapproved of his brother, Micajah. Mishael did not understand why his father treated his brother differently. As the years went by and Mishael left his toddler years and into the preadolescence he watched his father grow from a simple loving man to someone much more complex.
His father became aggressive and harsh standing about Micajah being "soft". He felt Mishael was following in Micajah's footsteps and he decided to move forward and strike Mishael down and mold the child into the son he wanted. His father, Frederic fought with him and taught him how to hit back, be more aggressive. His father taught him how to follow orders without complaining and listen to others and act as the perfect child. If he got out of hand, gave up on the fighting, cried, refusing to listen, or finding himself into some trouble, his father would hit him aside the head and Mishael would move his arms to protect his face. He had countless bruises on his arms, few on his chest, and a few on his face with a handful of black-eyes from his "lessons" from his father.
Homophobia[/u] Mishael is gay. He knows he is gay. He dislikes people whom doesn't tolerate homosexuals. Mishael may joke around about being gay and call it out as other teenagers do. "That's gay." "You homo." The phrases don't offend him. What does offend him and he despises is pure hatred toward homosexuality. He can take a joke, but, not the true hatred. He gets enough of homophobia, hated, and being told it is wrong from his father. He does not need it from any other people. Homophobia is something he does not tolerate.
Flavored Grapes[/u] Grape flavored items have been something he had never liked. He hates grape flavor in anything, even fruit salads, or grape flavored food. He even hates any grape flavored liquids from sodas to juice. The strong taste of grape reminds him of the flavored medicines he had taken when he was little when he had a cough to when he caught the flu or the dragon pox. There is only one exclusion, wine. If anything were to have grape flavor it needs to be the actual fruit or some type of alcohol that isn't overwhelming.
Gladrags Wizardwear[/u] Mishael will give a half-hearted apology over this dislike. Mishael is a very materialistic person. He loves fashion and is picky about his brands. Micajah left clothes behind at their parents home when he was visiting and when he first left. The brand that both of his brothers wore were of Kane Fashions. Mishael grew up wearing Kane Fashions as soon as he was able to fit into the clothes. He had never liked Gladrags Wizardwear clothing nor will he wear their clothing. He would wear any brand, but, Gladrags Wizardwear due to a bad experience he had in their Hogsmeade shop. They shafted him and overcharged him and sold him a jacket that fell apart by crap seaming. It might've been a fluke, but, since then he had never bothered to buy anything made by that brand and went exclusively to their competitors. Besides, one of his closest friends is of the Kane family.
strengths ;
Character[/u] Mishael is a very trusting and kind person. He is not afraid to try new things. He encourages new experiences before hindering them away if he disliked them or not. He gives people a chance, regardless of whom they are. If they prove themselves to him, he will prove himself to them. He is an extremely kind and helpful person that others often overlook. If a lady dropped her bag of groceries on the street in Hogsmeade, he'd help her pick it up. If a boy kicked a ball too far, he'd kick it back toward them. If someone asks for help learning something he already mastered, he does not mind giving a few tips. Being a kind, helpful, and trusting person can work to his advantage. So when he does ask for a favor, his deeds already outweighed the favor he asks for.
Taking a hit[/u] From a young age Mishael had learned to tough his personality and take a hit. He can take a physical hit or an insult very well. He won't last out and he'd hold restraint against himself until he feels overloaded. He tries his best to bottle up his anger and releases them with pen and paper. He can fight and defend himself with words very well, but, he chooses not to. His father giving him a rough time and him watching his brothers had really shaped this trait in him as he grew older. His temper is mostly under control.
Passion[/u] Mishael has a strong sense of devotion and a pursuit to the passions and the senses. He wants to experience all that life offers him. He was born into a somewhat influential family with nearly everything in the world provided for him. With everything provided for him he had few things to work toward besides trying to please his family. He wants to try and devote full passion from everything from making love with someone he loves to watching children play in the street experiencing genuine laughter. His passions are his own and he goes all out to support them, tot he best of his ability. Granted if nothing holds him back, he'd move forward with his desires.
weaknesses ;
Spoiled[/u] Regardless of his family views or how he was treated, he had always been spoiled. He was always spoiled when it came to worldly processions. If he wanted something while growing up, all he'd have to do is ask for it. Usually he got what he wanted. He got more then what he wanted. His father liked the newest toys on the block and made sure he had the best things when it came to schooling. He got new brooms, new fashions (thankfully most from Micajah), new toys, everything. He's been spoiled in everything from food to fashion, his mother and brother had a great understanding when it came to fashion. Once he reached his teenage years he choose his own clothes and always choose things he knew his father would end up accepting.
Stubborn[/u] Mishael is closed minded when it comes to certain things. His family had laid down a few laws and burnt them into his mind. When his mind is set he can be hard-headed, strong-willed to the extents he so desires. He could keep his tongue civil and just give a fake smile and a nod to be polite even though he doesn't agree with the point they're making. When his mind is set, it normally is set. Once his mind is made up, he generally tries to stick by it until proven wrong. He'd defend himself to strangers. Being stubborn has helped him a few times, by making him stick by some of his friends and hurt him in ways by closing himself off. His stubbornness isn't apparent due to him being able to cover it up with his personality.
Materialistic[/u] The teenager is very materialistic. He has a giant closet and a large room. His brothers left the home by the time he hit his deeper consumer years so room for storage was never a problem for him. His closet is full clothes of fashions he no longer wears to things he had tried as a child and gave up. He rarely goes through his closest and gets rid of things on his own. Usually his mother has to force him to sit down over a holiday break to clear his room and closest out of junk and old things he'd no longer use. He defends things he knows he'd never wear and makes it a difficult processo. He is an impulsive buyer, and, when he sees something he wants, he buys it.
boggart ; Mishael's biggest fear is being forever alone. He doesn't want to spend his life alone. He doesn't want a long life without happiness. It is why he's trying to assert himself, trying to find someone to date, and friends.
amortentia ; The strongest smell that attracts Mishael is fresh coffee being brewed along with a breath of fresh air. If the scent is on another guy the smell of vanilla or strawberry would drive him with lust.
erised ; Upon his reflection in the mirror he sees himself kissing an attractive man. Rain falling from the heavens with his face blushed and his hair messed up from fingers being ran through it. He is clearly in love and loving that very moment. Upon further investigation a gold band upon his hand. The mirror shows his deepest desire as: him, married happily to a gay man deeply in love.

dementor ; His brother, Micajah came back from Hogwarts as his seventh year completed. A mere eighteen years old he was. Mishael was a month shy of being five years old. His father had struck Micajah across the face over an argument they were having and yelled at Micajah for being soft. Mishael watched, terrified, as it was the first time he remembered seeing anything like that. After Micajah stormed out of the house Mishael appeared and wondered what had happen to only have his father pick him up and spank him on the behind for no apparent reason. It was the first time Mishael felt completely terrified and the memory sticks with him, but, buried.
patronus ; Even though Mishael is not yet capable of conjuring a patronus, but, his animal would be a vulpes vulpes kitsune (vulpes vulpes red fox). His happiest memory is not of his first kiss or his first relationship, or even seeing something from his childhood. His current happiest memory is of a party he held when he was fifteen years old and entering his fifth year at Hogwarts. It was the last week before school begun. Summer vacation was coming to a close and Oceana Kane was staying with him at his parents home. She spoke about a beach party she attended one time and claimed it was fun. Mishael took the liberty of employing his brother Micajah and the house-elves to turn the beach into a party. Friends came over and he had a lot of fun. He got to see his friends laugh, himself laugh. All their worries vanished... even though there was some underage drinking. It is his happiest memory, a cheesy fun beach party he threw. Several of his friends were there including Oceana, Skylark, Lennox, Levi, Serg, and some other classmates him and his friends invited.
personality ; "Soft" is what he would be called by his father. It was exactly what Mishael Bartolomeo knew what he was. He knew he was soft-hearted for years. He has a soft tender heart that led him into trouble with his family. He has great affection and shows great passion, loyalty, and devoted to those that he loves and desires for. He strongly desires to follow his heart to make all the decisions of his life for him. But, his mind dominates. Things he was taught dominates his personality. However, is impulsively soft. Sometimes impulse cannot be overridden. His loyalties can effect his views, such as him refusing to date a muggle-born.
Despite being soft-hearted, Mishael has very strong points of views that dominates his ideals. He can hold a grudge, be cruel, and extremely blunt. His father had trained him to fight back, which, he is willing to do at times. He is cunning in ways trying to manipulate outcomes to hopefully end in his favor. He would conceal information by hiding the truth or manipulating the words to provide a different image to help the outcome he wants. He has two older brothers whom were able to lie and conceal information from their parents, he had picked up the tricks of the trade from them. He has strong pride in his self achievements and strong ambitions to grow his list of achievements.
Magic had always been a great love for him. He grew up in a magical household in a magical world and always viewed magic as an amazing feat that could be conquered and controlled. He fully approves of the dark arts and learning the dark arts. He sees dark arts as magic. A wizard can do great things, though for pure evil or good; but, still great things. Dark arts is a mastery of magic that can be used to benefit the world, and he understands that all magic can benefit himself and his beliefs. Once he had his wand magic became a great passion for him and a great sense of pride. Magic was his first love and first passion. He was fully prepared for his classes in his first year at Hogwarts. Magic and connections within the magical world equals power. Power can determine how great a wizard can end up. After all, would have Brahmir von Holst, Albus Dumbledore, Lord Voldemort, or any powerful wizard rose to power without having friends or connections? Mishael understands how important connections and friends are, even if agendas differ.
When given criticism, threatened, or hit, he takes it. He had learned to take a physical hit at a young age and take a few before falling down to the ground and risk his pride. Insults, criticism, being threatened, or being called names he can take and bottle them up. If his father or a professor were to chew him out for failing some subject or doing something completely wrong and humiliating himself, he'd shut up and take the criticism and respond that he understands it and he'll try to improve himself. He takes the emotions he bottles up, the threats, criticisms, insults, and he writes them down. He keeps a private journal with his feelings. At times he'd write it out as a poem, or a short story, or just an article about his life. He feels writing drains it out of him, and allows him to start afresh, anew. He bottles his emotions and memories within the journal. He can brush insults off and go on as nothing had happened, he has high self-esteem and self-confidence.
His father would at times call him hard, difficult to manage, control, overcome, or understand, but, he believes differently. He knows he can be difficult to understand but, managing and controlling him is done by himself and passion. He can be directed into a direction, but, he'd always make the choice of either or not to take the next step. He generally can be seen as impulsive when it comes to a decision or a relationship he is seeking to pursue. Mishael is an intelligent person, and he know sit. He can keep his grades up far enough to keep his parents off of his back. With his grades and a brother whom is a professor he sometimes is granted access to the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts library. He would check out books for his study and is perfectly fine with his friends looking over the books even though they may have some dark curses. He does not view it as wrong and is perfectly fine with the dark arts being taught. He is an eccentric boy at times. Mishael looks up to his brothers, Micajah and Mikangelo for male influence over his father. He looks up at his mother, Aleksa as his favored parent.
After his brother, Micajah came out as gay his father had realized that Mishael seemed to be following in the same footsteps. Though, he didn't play around with his mothers things, but, he was always the more sensitive boy of the bunch. He was the youngest, and his father thought he had a chance to mold Mishael to his liking. Being thirteen and seventeen years younger then his brothers did not leave him with much of a choice. His father begun to give him lessons on what being a man was about. Fighting. Taking a hit. Hitting back. His father encouraged him to wrestle more, fight, hit. If he refused to play the games with him, he would find himself being hit against his head or spanked and grounded until he was willing to listen once again. His father provoking him provided anger that built within him that he had learned to channel back into his fists and tackles against his father.
Though he has a tenacity to curse under his breath, but, around his family, friends, professors, and strangers he can keep a civil tongue. He knows how to act as the perfect child and how to be the child to make other parents envy his father for being blessed with him. Normally an act, he was trained from a young age to do exactly as he was told. Even when his father claimed he was toughening him up, he always done what he was told or he knew he'd be punished for not listening. It backfired upon his father and he ended up keeping his sensitivity and never growing out of it. He remained kind, curious, sensitive, and most of his traits and experienced them developed further due to the actions of his father. He learned to listen, he learned to be a friend, learned to take orders, learned to follow directions. These things he learned benefited him in school and a step further, he learned to defend himself.
He desires to live by passion. He is homosexual and he knows it. He loves males and desires to be with males. He loves magic and desires to stay within magic. Familiar territory is what he is likely to stay within. With magic he finds himself feeling an extra layer of safety. He was raised to be separate from the muggle world and he retained a curiosity for the muggle world as an observer only. He does not like their way of life, a life of technology. He views magic as superior then muggles. He was encouraged by his father to find a nice pure-blood girl one day, but, still be a teenager. Sixteen years old, his father believes time is running out. He does not want a girlfriend... he wants the company of his own gender.
Mishael does not deprive himself from emotions. In fact, he loves emotions. He experiences sorrow, fury, happiness, and love. He is not an apathic person. He is an optimist and sees the best in the future, and hopes for the best. Being an optimist helped ease his childhood. He does not like to say "No". If someone asks for something off of his plate, out of his backpack, or desk, he'd rarely say no unless he strongly favors the item. The few times he says "No" is when he is declining food, or answering simple questions about his opinions or making choices. He would always accept gifts and never decline them, no matter what the gift is. When he is genuinely happy he may stop and do a small victory/happy dance to show how pleased he is. Rarely he may make up a theme song about himself with cheesy lines such as "Go Mishael! Go Mishael!" Usually when he does the happy dance is when he has achieved something significant to at least himself. Achievements, trophies, certificates, and winning competition helps his pride.
When it comes to conflicts Mishael contradicts himself and his beliefs. Personal conflicts he believes in pacifism; he would rather stand and take the punch then fight back. He done so in the logic he would not make himself a larger target or encouraged more fights or cause himself to be hurt more. Luckily, he has not had many encounter with bullies unless his father can be counted. If he gains an injury from his father from hitting him in the gut, kicking his back or ribs if he collapsed on the ground, he tries his best to hide the injuries and not let anyone know about them. If the injuries bother him enough he'll visit a nurse and lie about the origin of the injuries blaming them on something like quidditch. When it comes to Death Eaters and the Order of the Phoenix, Mishael supports his family wishes with the Death Eaters. His pacifism view changes and he believes that everyone must choose a side: Either one or the other. When it comes to war and politics he believes a neutral side does not exist and loyalties must be chosen.
He is one of the few teenagers with a submissive personality, but, it helps define whom he is along with his kindness toward others. He is a helpful person whom would help a complete stranger pick up groceries instead of laughing at her. He's sweet and always has a smile. He's kind to waiters and shopkeepers along with people whom talk to him. Muggle-borns he does not like very much, but, he keeps a civil tongue and does not dare mention it to their face. If they prove themselves with him he might consider them more, which, very few have done. The few muggle-borns he had befriended, he lied to his parents when questioned claiming they were half-bloods. He had seriously thought his muggle-born friends were half-blood at one time, and, they have earned his friendship by the time he found about their blood origins.
He does play the gay factor off as a joke to his friends sometimes. He does not get offended when teenagers are being teenagers and saying things such as, "That's gay." He understands the difference between a joke and serious insults and would treat them as such depending upon what was said. His first kiss, not to his liking, was to one of his closest friends, Oceana Kane. He had asked her to kiss him in front of his dad to help please his dad thinking he could have what he defined as a normal relationship. He had gotten the idea to ask his friend to kiss him in front of his father from Micajah. He is be careful not to date muggle-borns, even though he might befriend one. He prefers pure-blooded relationships over others, and, he knows it would please his family if he ended up with a pure-blooded person. He holds hopes that his father would come around to homosexuality. Luckily, he has his mother and his brothers.
The influence he grew up with is strong. He will be out-right cruel to people, make demands and expect them to be filled, and be a supremest over blood purity. He is a sweet person inside, but, he could be very vicious. He can hold a hell-of-a grudge when someone angers him until they ask for another chance. He rarely lets his guard down and is prepared to defend himself. He can surprise people when they least expect it, being romantic, helping a friend, covering for a friend, or even just being there fulfilling his promises one after another.
From the influence of his mother he was raised around magical creatures. He fell in love with them. Creatures not just magical, but, of non-magical origins. He loves the aquatic creatures much more since he was young. He had inherited his mother's talent. Mishael and his friends love water and to swim. Mishael can swim very well and has been able to since a young age. His best friend, Oceana Kane, pursues his talent in swimming further. He's not as fascinated in the sea as his friend, Oceana is, but, he does still love and enjoy it.

worst subject ; Out of the subjects he had taken, Divination has been his worst performing class. If out of all of the classes, it would be Muggle Studies. He never liked divination and the seer magic seemed not to work correctly for him and he kind of thinks only the actual bred seers will be able to do it. Muggle studies he dislikes just because he does not want to study the muggles.
best spell ; Wand-Lighting Charm, Lumos is the strongest spell that Mishael. Mishael speaks the truth if he mentions the spell because it was the first spell he had fully mastered on his own without help from anyone. At the present day his lumos is powerful and can emit a light almost blinding in the pitch-black.
worst spell ; Mishael has the most trouble with the Stickfast Hex, Colloshoo. The spell is supposed to bind a person's shoes to the ground. But, the spell has not worked for Mishael before, bound his feet instead of shoes, his shoes to his feet, or even melted the soles of his shoes. He gave up after a while and refuses to admit he can't do something so simple.

residence ; Mishael lives in a beautiful estate not far from the mountains of Scotland, but, resting on the beach of the western side of the Scottish council land of Orkney. The home is just a short distance outside the city of Stormness on Mainland, Orkney. The estate lies up a low cliff that overlooks the sea toward the mainland Scotland. On clear days they can see the main land that makes up Great Britain, or at least the western mountains. There is a pathway that goes from the home down to a privately owned beach. The property is enchanted to help prevent muggles from wanting to stop at their property.
Mishael's bedroom is not a part of the main estate. There is a doorway off to the side of the living room that leads downward the cliff, to almost twenty-three feet under the home ground level. The tunnel not only spirals down but leads outward toward the coast line. The room has a bed, a desk, some chairs, and a hot tub. For a while the room was used as a getaway for his parents and then eventually a place of business for his father. Eventually it was handed down to Mishael. The room is underwater and built by using magic.
history ; Once upon a time there was a girl by the name of Aleska Virkov. She found herself meeting a courageous young boy by the name of Frederic Bartolomeo. Upon the meeting Aleska knew that Frederic was a thief. He was the thief that had stolen her heart. Frederic felt like he never have before, only a mere eleven years of age. Over time rumors developed that Frederic had a liking for the beautiful young girl; but, her not for him due to her tastes being different. Aleska denied ever hearing the gossip, even though she had. This put Frederic in an awkward position, wondering if she despised him or not.
The boy, Frederic desired Aleska. Her ignoring him and brushing him off had only made his desire for her more. As the years passed they grew closer and closer as friends. Soon, Aleska had realized that Frederic wanted more then to be just friends. She found it out after she begun dating another boy that it caused the young ma, Frederic to break down and be put into a mood of sorrow for days. Eventually he straightened himself up and normalized his life once again.
Eventually he was found to seemingly be falling for another girl... moving on from Aleska. When Aleska had saw him with the beautiful young woman named Justina Co'durellis, she had become jealous. Aleska felt the very thing for him that he felt for her. She approached Frederic and asked him out on a walk, as just friends. The two ended their walk early on and ended up having their first kiss together. Their friendship became more and blossomed into a strong love between the two.
They graduated together and moved on into adulthood as a couple. Aleska found herself working in her passion of studying magical creatures. Frederic moved into the realms of business and opened a restaurant named "Bartolomeo". The business did not perform very well, but, they lived comfortably. Then they found out they were pregnant with a child. Their first son was named Mikangelo. Everything went alright, they settled into their new life. They found they were pregnant again three years later. Immediately after finding out they were about to have a second child they decided to get married so the family would be official. In March of 1980 they had a second son and they named him Micajah. Two children had made the couple come to a decision and get into their parents pockets.
Mikangelo and Micajah grew up with a good life. Aleska had funding from her parents to help support the family while Frederic's restaurant did not perform very well. They couldn't figure out how to control their finances to continue living comfortably off of inheritances. Frederic had come to a decision and added a strip joint to his restaurant and turned the place into a club. The club ended up becoming a hit and made great profits for the family to stop depending upon their inheritances and would allow Aleska to work where she wanted to... with magical creatures. A few years later they moved to a beautifully built home in Scotland near the beach. It was away from muggle society, and exclusive enough to allow the kids to grow up with strong magical influence and true beauty of the world. It gave Aleska room to bring her work home. It was a great place for the teenagers, Micajah and Mikangelo to grow up with and have friends over.
Twelve years later they found themselves pregnant with their third and final child. The family was in a bit of a shock over it. Micajah became slightly jealous. Mikangelo was not exactly thrilled at first of them having a child with such a large gap between the years. By the time their third child was born it was just over thirteen years after the birth of Micajah. They named their new child Mishael. Mishael grew up in a time where his oldest brother was the perfect child and the middle child, Micajah was being pushed away due to being gay.
His earliest memories were happy ones. His father was loving. His brothers were awesome. As far as Mishael was aware his brothers never had a peril with him. Mishael grew up in the easier part of his parents lives. Mishael knew Micajah was gay by the time he was only four years old and Micajah was seventeen. He had caught his brother kissing another guy. It was the first time his mind processed something besides a boy and girl together. Mishael never had a problem with it. It was the first lie he ever told his parents when they asked him for information. They believed little children did not lie. He had seen his father hit Micajah a few times for being out of line
Mishael had always been sensitive at a young age and closer to his mother and his brothers over his father. Mishael loved his father and wanted to see more of his busy father. His father tended to disappear constantly for meetings, or both his parents would disappear to the secret room under their house that Mishael did not know about. Mishael missed his father and would search the house endlessly for him and asking his mother where he was. He eventually stopped searching the house trying to figure out where his father disappeared to once he came to a realization he could have left with magic.
After a while Mishael became curious once again. His father was disappearing with guests to their home. Nowhere to be seen. The fireplace was unlit and he heard no large cracks. As far as he was concerned there were no portkeys within the home. Mishael followed his father's every move one morning and finally discovered the tunnel to the secret room. For years his parents have used the room that had a hot tub in it to get away from life and the children when they were playing or sleeping. After a while the room was turned into a study with a large desk, lots of paperwork, and magic books. It was a perfect place for his father to conduct business without getting interrupted by the family. The room was underwater with large windows that made it have a stunning appearance.
He was only six years old when he finally discovered the secret room. The room amazed him. He saw the hut tub that was abandoned and became an extra storage space for books and boxes. Mishael begun to sneak into the room before his father had a chance to. He would curl up in his father's chair and fall asleep waiting to get a moment alone with him to play a game of catch on the beach or go into the water. His father did not seem to mind that he had discovered the room. He used magic to lift his son and lay him down onto another chair until he woke up. Mishael was the only child left in the house, so there wasn't really a big reason to keep the room a large secret. As Mishael grew up he begun spending more and more time in the room, sitting and watching the sea and animals that were attracted to the magic.
As a child, seven years old. Micajah was smacked by his father over an argument the two were having. This was around the time that Micajah was seeing a girl. It had confused Mishael for a while to see his brother kissing a girl when he had seen Micajah so many times before kissing a boy. But, he assumed it was normal. Sexuality wasn't something known to Mishael by that time. He did not understand the issue of liking a different gender or the arguments that arose over it. He just ignored it and went on doing what he wanted to do.
Mishael had always been a sensitive boy from a young age. He cared about others. He brought in stray squirrels from outside. He found crabs and brought them in along with birds. His mother had to constantly tell him to not disturb their lives by taking them with him. He once found a baby rabbit and tried to feed it milk. The rabbit died in his bedroom because he did not have the proper food. Mishael was sad for days after the rabbit died. His feelings got hurt easily. He hated being yelled at. All of these added up over time and by the time he was eight years old his father decided it was time to train the young Mishael. "You're too soft, Mish. You need to toughen up. Meet me at the beach after you eat dinner."
The lessons went well. Frederic begun teaching him more about sports. He even dabbled in some muggle sports that involved tackling, wrestling, kicking a soccer ball. He had made Mishael have fun while being extremely active. His father had taught him how to box, throw a punch, and kick hard. The beach made things harder, and yet, more fun at the same time due to the sand. He got hurt a few times, but, each time it was a sports related injury. Mishael was ready to go out there again. His father taught him to follow orders and not question him. Mishael stopped arguing about orders and done what his parents had asked of him without arguing. He figured it was better to just get something done and listen to the leader, which was his father.
His first sign of magic came when he was nine years old. Micajah had come by the house and Mishael was sleeping in his father's office, curled up under his desk. He led Micajah down to the office not realizing Mishael was under the desk. They woke Mishael up and he witnessed Micajah being hit across the face. Mishael stood up and interrupted. "What... Why did you hit Cajah?!" Mishael wasn't happy about it and his father knocked Mishael down to the ground. Mishael slowly stood up and yelled back. "Why did you hit me?" He shut up when his father's desk levitated up from the ground and was thrown upside down. He ran out of the room crying and it ended up being an evening of his mother yelling at his father and Micajah comforting Mishael and trying to focus on the positive things... like his first sign of magic.
His childhood returned to normal once again. He forgave his dad and would be found playing in his office until booted out when his father needed privacy. On his tenth birthday his father disappeared. Mishael couldn't find his father and the tunnel was sealed to the office way. He asked his mother when the meeting would be over and she blushed and tried to bribe him with a cookie. He took some cookies and his mother gave him a glass of milk to go with it. Before he had a chance to drink the milk after finishing the cookies a loud noise came from the living room. Mishael jumped up and Aleska ran to the living room. He followed her in and they saw the tunnel door was blown off. The passageway to his father's office was no longer well hidden.
"Happy birthday Misa," Micajah smiled as he walked out of the tunnel. Mikangelo and Frederic came out of the tunnel pathway as well. They encouraged him to go forward into the tunnel. Mishael rushed to where the tunnel doorway/false wall once stood and peered inside the tunnel. The tunnel was remodeled and carpeted, no longer just a cold stone path way. There were family photographs hanging on the walls of the tunnel and it was more well lit then it was before. Mishael slowly walked through the tunnel and came to a realization midway in, each photograph had him in it. Everything in the hallway was something related to him.
Once at his father's office he stopped and turned around to ask a question. "Is my birthday party in there?" His entire family laughed and Micajah reached over and pushed the door open. Mishael walked in slowly and realized his father's large desk was gone. There was a large bed where storage accidents once were. A smaller desk and new walls were put up. There was a chair, and new cabinets. The room looked completely redesigned. It was the same shape, same windows and a hot tub was still there. But, this time it was designed a bit differently and had bathing supplies and a shower added. The room had everything to be a bedroom, including a mini bathroom. The only things the room was missing was a kitchen, a toilet, and a sink. Mishael walked in deeper and looked around to find his clothes were hanging to the side in a closet and the closet was expanded. "This is... mine?"
"Yes, Mishael. This is yours. I hardly use this place anymore and you seemed to be taking over it by leaving your toys all over the place. But... one thing, Mishael... I removed the locks from your door. You'll still have to run up to go to the bathroom or the kitchen." Mishael did not care that the locks were removed from the door to his father's office... now his bedroom. The tunnel was redesigned and the tunnel door vanished. Mishael was happy. After he looked around the room discovering his toys, clothes, and seeing the fish attracted to the magic out the windows, he was overjoyed. He immediately jumped upon his new bed which was by far much larger then he was. It was his best birthday.
On his eleventh birthday on the twenty-fifth day of April came around. As soon as he woke up he ran straight outside to hang out on the beach all day. He kicked the ball around and threw things as his father taught him beforehand. It was an important day because it was his eleventh birthday, the day he would get his acceptance letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. His family was all gathered at the house and they were all overjoyed about him entering the long line of wizards to go to the famous school. The entire family insisted on leaving that very moment to spend the day shopping. Micajah smiled and gave him his first present that day, an Egyptian Mau kitten. It was a male kitten, of which Micajah's cat fathered.
Hogwarts was an adventure for him. He had heard several stories about the school while growing up. Though, he would be alone as nobody else in his family was attending the school due to the large gap in years between him and his brothers. His first year at Hogwarts went well and him finding himself having fun in a verity of subjects. The day of the train ride to the school, Micajah had handed him a file full of papers of notes of various subjects. Mishael found the notes useful and it allowed him to study his subjects faster to have more time to try and learn the castle.
His first few years went by and he made a few friends. By his third year his best friend became a girl by the name of Oceana Kane. He was extremely excited to go to Hogsmeade had had his permission slip signed the very first day of coming home for the summer. It was the summer his puberty really begun to kick in. It was the summer where he became interested in fashion. He loved some of the clothes he seen in the magazines. Over that summer he tried to reinvent himself by choosing the newest fashions. He bought his first item from Gladrags Wizardwear. They measured him to make sure he got the perfect size. He paid for it and realized later on that they gave him the wrong size. He tried to return it and the retail clerk refused saying it was custom tailored and couldn't be returned. Mishael never went back to Gladrags Wizardwear and bought the rest of his clothes from Kane Fashions. Micajah choose a lot of his clothes and helped him with understanding the styles.
His third year went by and he never got the chance to go to Hogsmeade. The school raised the limit from the third year to the fourth year. He was sad about it and had to pay an older year to gather the candy for him from Honeydukes. He had a sweet tooth and loved the candy more then anything. His fourth year rolled around and the school raised the limit once again, only fifth years could go to Hogsmeade. It missed Mishael off that the limit was raised twice on him. In his early fourth year he made friends with a girl named Skylark. He thought she was a half-blood for a while. He supported pure-bloods and did not care for muggle-borns. It surprised him when he found out she was a muggle-born. He almost cut ties with her over the blood purity, until he realized she was a good friend and just kept the lie acting like he thought she was half-blood.
When he was fifteen years old in the summer between his fourth and fifth years. His father became curious of why he wasn't seeing any girl or dating. He asked a few times if he had a girlfriend yet. Mishael had felt nothing for girls. He did not even feel sexually attracted to them. He sent an owl out to his friend Oceana and she came over the next day. He explained to her what was going on with his dad. Frederic came down to his room where Oceana spotted him looking in from the doorway. Oceana stole his first kiss by leaning in and kissing him on his lips. "Well done boy," Frederic spoke and left the two teenagers to their privacy.
Oceana didn't visit for a few weeks and his father thought they were dating and something was wrong. "You're not turning into Micajah are you?" He muttered under his breath. When Oceana came to visit once again Mishael opened up to her. He pulled her down to the beach and spoke to her. "Oceana... I think I'm gay. I can't tell my dad because of reasons." He did not say much more. Oceana just hugged him and told him she already knew. He was confused about the kisses she had given him and then he had come to a realization as she told him. Each kiss he had with Oceana was when his father was spying on them.
At the end of the summer he held a beach party for Oceana whom loved the sea. Oceana loved his house, the beach, the seashells and was extremely jealous of his room. She would have loved to steal his bed due to the view, but, his mother always came in and led her off to a guest room. It was not uncommon for Oceana to sneak into the room and lay in his bed or on a couch he had facing the window under the water. Every time Oceana was in his room, Mishael made sure his bedroom door was wide open.
His fifth year went great. He knew he was gay. Oceana had set him up with some boy named Lennox. After a few secret meetings the two had their first kiss. Lennox became his first same-sex friend what had the chance to become intimate. By winter break, Mishael invited Lennox back over to his house. They were going to have a party the next day and his parents allowed Lennox to stay in his room. It was the night of which Mishael lost his virginity. Mishael had a crush on Lennox, a large crush. Mishael wanted more, Lennox didn't. Mishael didn't do anything more intimate with Lennox since then and the two just stayed friends. His crush faded and he grew a new crush on someone else.
That summer he did not kiss any girl. His father begun to think he may be gay. He hit Mishael in the face demanding an answer that Mishael refused to give. Mishael refused to admit he was gay to his father. His mother interrupted his father hitting him and waved her wand at his door to lock it to bar his father out of his room. He sat in his room that night crying to himself in his bed. If he couldn't please his father, he did not know what he could do. Micajah came over and took him over to his house and had a discussion with him. Mishael told Micajah everything from the fake kissing with Oceana to Lennox and his first time. He even told Micajah about his current crush on a boy named Serg. Eventually Mishael developed a friends with benefits relationship with Serg and held onto it until he went back to school.
By the time he went back home his mother had installed a magical lock on his door to his bedroom. The lock would bar his father out. Aleska told him that she was able to override it still. He trusted she wouldn't invade his privacy as she never had. Mishael went back to school with a black eye and bruises on his arms. He wore long sleeve shirts to hide the bruises. He refused to remove his shirt around anyone, even in his dorm room until the bruises healed a few weeks later. Oceana was the only person to recognize the bruises by rolling up his sleeves. He swore Oceana to secrecy and did not bother telling his brother whom started working at Hogwarts that year. Oceana told him anyway. Micajah called for him to come to his office. "Misa... if dad hits you again just get out of there and call me. I'll find you." Micajah handed him a two-way mirror.
The summer between his fifth and sixth years was unforgettable. He spent time exploring whom he was over the summer. He knew his father hated the idea of him being gay and being in bed with other men. Mishael rebelled against his father. He was good at taking orders, listening to others, following directions. Mishael was kind, submissive, and helpful. His father thought he'd never be dating. Regardless, Mishael dated twice and had friends to do other deeds with. The first week of summer vacation Lennox stayed with him. He held a party when his parents left for France for a few days. At the end of the party he found himself kissing Serg. His brother, Micajah came over to check on him and caught him in his bed with Serg. Micajah kicked the other boy out embarrassing Mishael. Serg was considered his first boyfriend, even though the relationship was hidden outside his friends.
He held large pressure from his father to be a perfect child. His relationships were pressured. He had asked Oceana for help to find girls welling to kiss him around his father. He was the last kid in the house and felt as an only child at times. He was given every advantage he could ask for... everything but what he really wanted: a stable loving relationship with his father. He plays the 'good boy' act around his father, acting like the child he never had. He had to keep his tongue civil, keep himself clean, and do what his father approved of for his self image... even though he owned a
That very summer was the first summer he had achieved a feat. He was in a physical fight with his father, which was normal. He ended up with a bruise above his left nipple, three on his right arm, and one on his left. This time his face did not have a single mark. Mishael did not give up yet and went in to tackle his father down on the beach. His father was taunting him and Mishael overpowered him for the first time in his life. His father laughed and pointed his wand at Mishael's gut and muttered a spell to send him flying back. "Very good boy. But... you never will best me. You need to improve your lamprophony." As soon as Mishael got up from the beach his father apparated away. Mishael views it as one of his proudest moments, finally defeating his father.
His sixth year had begun. Relationship with Serg ended over the summer. Mishael developed a new crush, a stronger one then before with someone by the name of Levi. It was also the year he begun to take Animagus Studies and have his big brother, Micajah, as a professor.
